Oh, I didn't know this was being repeated. I watched it until the first series with the replacement vicar and then gave up. It just wasn't the same without James N.
I think it's surprisingly good. Good acting and, beneath the chocolate-box rural landscapes/period clothes and parlours etc, it deals with some pretty serious subjects. I also love Amanda and Sidney's chemistry. Tempted to start rewatching it!
