So I've watched The Traitors UK, US and Australia. I know they're doing a new series for the UK, don't know about the others.
I'm wondering what people think about any future series, what they would and wouldn't like to see?
I realise they've got to engineer it so there's at least one Traitor in the final, but I don't think I like the forced recruitment at the end...I know the game is stacked towards the Traitors anyway but it always puts the Faithful, and the newest recruit, at such an egregious disadvantage because they're always recruited as cannon fodder and there's so little they can do to turn the tide at that point.
I didn't like Wilf at all originally but after watching the game played twice more and the same thing happening, I'm more sympathetic. I can see now that it's pretty much inevitable that Traitors will have to turn on each other because eventually the Faithful will get on to them and they'll look suspicious if they never vote for one.
The best tactic for a Faithful seems to be to ally with a Traitor and then turn on them at the last minute. The biggest clue about Wilf was that people who totally trusted him never got murdered. But now people know that, how will it change the game? Will they actually learn and be less trusting? If they pick up on this, will Traitors have to kill their allies in future to avoid suspicion?
Now the game's been played a few times and people have learned from it, how might it change in the future?
