And I am distraught! I love this programme. I've watched it since it started, right from the very first series when the entire audience was me, a couple of blokes who couldn't sleep and a small tabby cat in Cheltenham. I am a long time fan!

BBC 4 had the whole lot available on the iPlayer for the past two years and I've dipped in and out rewatching it at my leisure during that time. The last time I watched it was around Xmas and it said then that it was available on the iPlayer for another 11 months. But now it has gone! And is only available on Amazon Prime. Like fuck am I giving my money to Jeff bezos. This is an outrage!!

If you like it you may be better off buying a second hand DVD rather than relying on streaming channels, I often get them from eBay then it's mine to keep

I'm just fucked off with it. I hate all this constant chopping and changing across streaming services and like you I usually buy DVDs due to that. But they didn't even give a warning about this. Bastards.

Could you have mistaken the 1 for an 11? I watched it late last year on a binge as it showed that it was disappering within a month.

God I really missed that it was even on Iplayer. I love Spiral too and I think me and DH can be added to your Series 1 list

Best series ever. Just get the DVDS and you can watch them over and over again.
Can I recommend Braquo too. You won't regret watching this understated gem
