We've been enjoying working through Ghosts with the DCs (9 & 11) but are coming to the end.

What else is there that would be suitable for those ages, also enjoyable for us, and fit into a 30 min slot - preferably light/comedy?

My DSs aged 12 (nearly 13) and 10 enjoy The Goes Wrong Show (iplayer), A Series of Unfortunate Events (Netflix) and Wednesday (also Netflix). I think the latter two have longer episodes but we just split them over two sittings if we're short on time!

Young Sheldon!

ToooOldForThis · 15/01/2023 20:33

Oh and modern family

Modern Family

Chocolateteabag · 15/01/2023 23:13

Young Sheldon, Big Bang Theory and The Goldbergs

There are a few bits in Wednesday that my 12 year old found v scary (t he monster is a bit risky for nightmares) so maybe one for you to watch first and check? (But it's very good apart from that)

Ghosts US

The first 2 or 3 episodes are very similar to the uk stories, but then it gets its own legs.

Slightly longer (but can fast forward ad breaks) we're currently watching old series of ninja warrior with our 2 (aged 8 and 9), plus they enjoy masked singer/dancer.

Merlin.....either on iplayer or netflix. episodes about 45min if I remember. There's loads of series & its great for the age group you need.

Father Ted? Malcolm in the Middle?

DarkDarkNight · 16/01/2023 20:50

I love Ghosts!

I think Malcolm in the Middle is a good shout (Disney+), and The Middle as well.

It’s not the same as Ghosts but me and my son both enjoyed Secrets of Sulphur Springs on Disney+. It’s a kids show but enjoyable for grown ups too.

DarkDarkNight · 16/01/2023 20:52

Sorry, just saw you said comedy. Secrets of Sulphur Springs is more a mystery/spooky show.
