Just noticed this is on tonight on BbC4. I watched it years ago. Don't know if it will seem dated now. Not been repeated for years and years. I quite liked it at the time. Felicity Kendall and Jane Asher.,

It's dire!

I tried but not a fan. I can see what they were trying to do though.

I am feeling very judgmental about it. The misery infidelity causes and this is all a bit of a jape. Her friend creeping about with a married man too, ‘how romantic!’ He dumped her when she thought she was pregnant: how romantic!

Maybe I’m not seeing what they’re trying to do though.

Had to Google to see if a thread on this as OH and I are kinda hooked in an awful way: it is almost unbelievable. Take the laugh track away,and it could be bits from a play for the day. The bloke,and his mate, are almost nauseating. And if Jane Asher's character had access to mumsnet she'd have got resounding LTB responses! Just a bizarre idea.

Bit annoying they changed the actor playing the lead role for series 2. Can't remember now how it ends. But it isnt in any way a comedy as described. I didn't watch on Tuesday.
