Has anybody watched Under the dome?
Recently discovered it & I'm loving it (although it's a little far fetched)

I love what I call 'End of the world' stuff so this is right up my street

It starts well but gets bad pretty quickly. I think the first season was pretty good and then it descended into trash I'm afraid

First season was very promising... after that just diabolical

Oh does it? That's a shame. I'm about half way through season one & it's getting a bit eye-roley at parts but I'm still enjoying it!

Loved it at the start but then it got ridiculous.
Shame, as the premise was good.

I'm still gonna stick with it even though it seems unanimous though that it's gonna get awful

Absolutely loved the book, the first season was good, then it got silly.

Book's much better than the series. Series goes way off track after a while.

I suppose there's only so long it can go on really without getting silly.

Silly yes, still loved it though, was gutted when it ended!

It stops making any sense tbh. Season 1 is ok, every thing after is awful. Still watched it though!

I wouldn't bother with the series. It's shit.

The book is brilliant.

There is some big end of the world drama called Last World or something similar starting in Jan that's supposed to be pretty good but I think it's only going to air on US TV channel, HBO I think, but I hope Prime or Nflx buys the rights.

E4 had a really good end of the world show in c2015 or 2016 called Quarantine maybe, cancelled after 1 season. Grr

I enjoyed the first(though now can't remember anything) not sure if I did try watching the 2nd and gave up,or just didn't bother.
I did download the book but only read a few chapters...I can't read a book if I've already seen the TV adaptation.

I hate it when there's only one season of something, but sometimes they go on too long as well don't they.

ellebelli I quite like reading a book after watching the TV show! I like noticing the differences... Or not!

My kids are with their dad so I'm binge watching, it's got very 'End of the world-ey' & I'm loving it again
