Yes it is. It makes the Thick of It look badly written. And I don't even know who wrote it.

@jamoncrumpets - if you appreciate a good TV script, have you watched I May Destroy You. I thought that was Shakespeare-level good in many places, in the way she uses language as though she had just invented it.

@jamoncrumpets - did you ever see Patriot? I think you might love it, if you appreciate the scripts you've mentioned. Shamefully under-appreciated and dropped after a couple of series. I was so looking forward to the next series - it had a long way to go. I used to fantasise if I won the Euromillions (which I don't go in for) that I'd recommission it. It's that good.
