I wonder how they came up with the names originally?

My late parents were both born in the east end in the 1920s in homes very similar in style to these ones
A few in their road had names , which made me smile as they were often two up two down terraced properties! Maybe it was the name of the person who built them or some connection there ? ( They were private rentals , not council built houses. ) Lots of character and bay windows.
Has Chelsea's house got a name ? ( pineapple lodge ?)

lots of the Victorian/Edwardian houses round here have names like that too. Sadly many get lost to renovation works when the window is replaced.

She'll have some disaster en route either with her car , her suitcase or the heel on her shoe snapping . Philth will come to her rescue not realising who she is and brush off her "I must buy you a drink to say thanks"

When Philth runs into her later and sees she's the one who abandonded his closest thing to a daughter-in-law /mother of his grandaughter , he'll go all gammon-faced and chunter about faaaaaamily

They'll all have the daggers out for her but eventually she'll win them round .
IIRC when Ronnie&Roxy's mum (played by Glynis Barber) came to the Square she was held in suspicion as she'd left Archie and R&R were abandoned by her .

If she does find Lexi in the swingpark she'll get "Oh , so you're the one who went off and left my Mum when she was 4yo . "
If Lexi also says My Dad is gay , my Mum is marrying his "brother" , my Mum got pregnant by my maternal grandmothers' grandson (Peter) but didn't keep it , my StepGran (Sharon) was also married her brother-inlaw (Grant) and my Gran's oldest son (Ian) but she tried to poison him so he left ..... When you see the characters history written down like that , you realize just how messed up most of them really are.
I agree that she'll run into Phil or someone immediately and be treated well , until it comes out she abandoned Lola and then she'll become the nemesis of the square and have to win people round by becoming the salt of the earth or save somebodies life or friends with Sharon / Linda

I've not read any spoilers at all but surely Lola's mum will be a raging homophobe and will try to get custody of Lexi because of it? We've not had a custody battle for a while have we?

I thought the scenes Linda did yesterday were very well acted (even if Alfie was in them) definitely brought a lump to my throat! Really hope Lily goes through with the abortion without any further drama poor kid! And I reckon it'll be a slow burn but Stace will get back with Martin at some point

Surely Ben would have custody of Lexi ?
His with Callum now and they have Jay around too
Why give her over to an absent grand parent ?
Although I agree that she's bound to ruffle feathers a lot over something or other and they do like a ' tug of love ' custody battle now and again !
