I know it's edited but I am having flashbacks of being late and induced for my first.
James is such a sweet supportive dad and the whole thing is lovely.
Maybe it's the leftover Xmas champagne... 😂

I've watched some of it and will watch the rest this morning.
I was a bit 'oh ffs Maeva, just get on with it without the moaning!'

harrassedmumto3 · 27/12/2022 11:44

Aww, I've just finished it and have changed my view somewhat. Didn't they do well? And baby Beau is just gorgeous Smile

To be honest stuck moving houses while her mother is away dealing with her grandmother's death... I can see why she was moaning.
And being late while waiting for 1st baby is so draining...
I was the same and by the end I was almost losing track that there was a baby in there. I just wanted the weight and bulk to go away!

Just crossposted. 😂
Gorgeous little boy but as a French native that name is so odd.
It's literally the equivalent of naming your son Handsome.

I know, it's a pressure! I'm Scottish and went to school with a girl called Bonnie. Thankfully she was really pretty, but imagine being saddled with that name if she wasn't Shock
Mind you, with baby Beau's parentage, I reckon it's a safe bet he'll live up to his name ...

anonacfr · 27/12/2022 15:23

I didn't even think of the pressure just the oddness.
Bonnie has become a given name in a lot of countries but Beau in French is just strange...
Sorry I am very anal about names as I spent months picking bilingual names for my children... 😆

Well, given that Bonnie means beautiful in Scots language, it's kind of the same thing! Grin

I guess but Beau is just so odd... from what I've seen of Maeva in the show I am surprised she agreed to it.
Ask any French person what they think of the name and they would all go 🤔

I need to let this go. I had an prolonged 'discussion' about this with my 16 year old and she gave me the long suffering sigh followed by 'it's not that deep, mum...'
😁
