Anyone else excited? Should be on paramount tomorrow but I don’t know if it will be released in one chunk or episode per week.

Can't wait for this, I will probably wait for the whole season though, I haven't started watching the new season of Yellowstone yet either as I don't like to watch weekly.

I’ve watched the first episode and it’s good, not overly invested yet but I think these things take a couple of episodes to work out who’s who and get the story lines up and running. I remember being as confused as fuck for the first couple of episodes of Yellowstone as I couldn’t work out who was who.

I figured out that the bloke in Africa must be Elsa’s young brother, presumably adopted by his Uncle and Aunt?

Good call, I couldn’t work out who he was. I assume he’s going to return to Montana at some point. Is Elsas mother the one who wrote asking for her brother to come and save her? And her brother is Harrison Ford?

I must admit I am sad there was only one season of 1883. I’d have loved to have seen them building their first cabin, the town getting established, etc.

also if it’s 40 years on from 1883 and Elsas brother was what about 10yo last time he’d be about 50yo now. African bloke looked younger than that. Maybe they just want younger eye candy and are hoping people don’t do the maths?

Spencer wasn’t yet born when Elsa died in 1883. It was apparently 10 years between them building Yellowstone and the death of James then Margaret - it is his (James) brother that is Harrison Ford’s ‘Jacob’.
John who is the younger brother in 1883 is late 40’s and father to the young lad due to get married.

There is a mid-season break now, won't be able to watch episode 5 till Feb 6

Why is it asking me to pay to watch the latest episode of 1923? I don’t normally pay per episode, obviously pay for prime, then paramount on top.

@OntarioBagnet , 1923 series 1 episode 5 airs in the US tomorrow so I'm hoping it's on paramount on Monday, I watch it via Sky Cinema.

Thank you. I’ve just cancelled paramount as have now realised that the next section of Yellowstone isn’t until the summer. So i should be able to watch one more episode of 1923 before the subscription finishes and then will restart in summer.
