I will start with a disclaimer that I fully understand TV shows need to keep the interest and blah blah, but I feel like practically everything I've watched recently has had me rolling me eyes:

  1. Grey's Anatomy : I have ongoing issues with how often their staff are in life threatening situations/life threatening diseases/ get caught up in major accidents etc. Honestly, I always want to shout at new interns, "don't join this place, it's cursed."
  2. Good Doctor: most recent episode had a situation where they had to deliver six babies and do multiple surgeries etc. Not a paediatric surgeon or gynaecologist in sight. And call me crazy, but I assume if you are pregnant with six babies, potential surgery and delivery plans will be made MONTHS ahead of time with a full team!?
  3. Actually, that's a regular bugbear with The Good Doctor - doctors amputate a toe one day, perform life changing heart surgery the next and then do specialised brain surgery in the afternoon.
  4. Watching latest episode of FBI.... and oh, there's a connection to one of the agents' son. Of course.

This is literally just off the top of my head.

Tell me your moments when you find very difficult to accept the story line....

I love the good doctor but I also agree with you. Not done season six yet but they seem to do surgery with no specialism it’s like they can do it all and I agree that’s not really reality is it?

Actually the thing that bugs me a lot about the good doctor is I don’t believe residents would tell mature surgeons what to do, not how they do it on this prog
