Also in week 1 they don't really know what they're doing, or know their partner as well. So they'll train better and I think you'd really see an improvement — more fun than a 38 to a 39!

Agree. I actually noticed a marked change in chemistry between Molly & Carlos from the second week to now. So yes think a Week 1 repeat would be great.

Why don't they show more footwork, annoying camera angle. I like that it's an instrumental though. Clumsy lift at the end but quite pretty otherwise.

I like Helen. I like her jive. I won't begrudge her a win but to make out she lacked confidence and has been on a journey is a bit suss - she has done Blue Peter challenges all over, she did the jive with Artem for Xmas special (anomaly as usually they aren't allowed a style to repeat) and she won the Malta open dance comp with her partner in a wheelchair...lacking confidence, no. She is not a weak woman just a bit bruised emotionally maybe.

But let's not underestimate how much an emotional bruising can make you question everything you ever thought about yourself.
