Who would you cast instead of Dominic West in The Crown s5?

I have really enjoyed Dominic West in other things but this casting didn't work for me.

I'm trying to think who else would have suited the role better. A younger Alex Jennings sprang to mind (did enjoy him as Edward VIII).

Who do you think?

There was rumours re QM & her nearest in age brother being product of a surrogacy type arrangement which saw French cook, Marguerite Rodiere from the household getting pregnant with the 2 youngest children of 10. Her middle name was Marguerite. Supposedly this was quite common in aristocracy circles but the QM seems to look v like her Mother so probably rumour. I wish they would bring back Claire Foy & Matt and age them. Nobody has been better.

Although he is In EVERYTHING, Colin Firth could have made a passable Charles with the right make up and voice.
Imelda Staunton should have been queen mother and the actress playing Princess Anne should have been Princess Margaret.
