Granite City BBC Scotland 10pm Thursday and BBC1 7pm Friday - soap or crime drama?

Just saw this is starting tonight on BBC Scotland and thought from the title and time being shown some gritty urban drama, but repeated tomorrow a 7pm on BBC1 which is usually soap time isn't it.

Which seems to show it is available to watch online. Is it an old series then, just being repeated?

The schedule time on BBC One makes it seem more like a daytime crime drama than anything gritty. Most odd.

Well I enjoyed this. And can see why it would be okay to show early evening.

Wont say about the plot but give them full marks for realising that if text messages are part of the plot you need to display them not on the phone, which nobody can read, but directly onto the screen.

The programme is actually called Granite Harbour, that’ll be why the other person started another thread.

A quick read through and the link would have made it obvious that it was one and the same thing.
