I liked Gina's jump suit. (Think she wore it later on.)

It's "confirmation bias" @PicturesOfDogs

When you interpret data only in a way that reinforces your preconceived ideas.

And I agree. Social Media has really brought to the fore how obvious it is that so many of us succumb to this. I do try and fight against it but I'm sure I'm not immune. But when you see people writing in real time online it becomes really obvious that we can all get caught in it.

CuriousMama · 28/11/2022 12:29

The psychological aspect is what attracts me to this programme. I know we only see snippets of their day really but it still can show people's real character. Unless they're Oscar worthy. Plus those who come out give hints about those left behind. They've seen and heard a lot more.
Jill won because she has no sides to her. You can just tell what you see is what you get. Her shock at winning was so genuine. She helped make us proud as a nation through football.
Can you imagine how busy the cafe is going to be? Think they'll need an extension and more staff 😂

That’s the one! my mind just went completely blank.

I try not to do it, but yes, we are all susceptible.
Thats why it’s interesting reading these threads, where you get a mixture of opinions where one act can be seen totally differently by different people.

I like to think the reason my opinions can chop and change are because I am constantly reevaluating my preconceived notions, but as I said on a previous thread, I think I’m just fickle 🤣

Yes, the trial isn't really how many stars they win rather how they can function with a group of flawed, thin skinned individuals cut off from socialisation. So, very quickly we saw George trying to shit stir, Sue latch on to Tindall as they were both boring sneery kindred spirits and Charlene make a bit of a tit of herself with her deluded 'impartial journalist' comments.

Jill just came across as completely at ease with herself, genuine and a team player from the start.

Absolutely devo’d for MH, the true king did not get the crown he deserved

itsgettingweird · 28/11/2022 15:56

JackandVera · 27/11/2022 22:07

I'm thinking all these little soap opera fanatics are voting for Owen but who for Jill?

Football fans I guess?

Plus those of us (like me!) who prefer her to Owen!

itsgettingweird · 28/11/2022 16:03

burnoutbabe · 27/11/2022 22:27

Sydney was where mt met his wife to date but he knew her already I think he said.

Yeah he mentioned he'd met her as William and Harry are something like patrons in rugby.

AntonDuPig · 28/11/2022 16:45

I wonder what is in their bags? 🤔

and Owen asked Is she Australian? 😂

I wonder what is in their bags? 🤔

I would hazard a guess at baby scorpions. Or spider eggs.

I’d be leaving my one there as well. I’m a big coward though.

ChecoPerez · 27/11/2022 23:05

So what's next on the telly threads? Will miss my little routine for the last 3 weeks

My next watch will be the apprentice. But in the New Year

ChecoPerez · 28/11/2022 18:34

@Rowthe oh definitely for us too!

Catlady2021 · 28/11/2022 18:48

I think it was Grant Shapps who said earlier that Matt Hancocks political career is over.
Matt Hancock has been paid allegedly 400k for three weeks ‘work’.
Prancing around the jungle.

I hardly think MT is worried about his future political career.

Mañanarama · 28/11/2022 19:22

Is there going to be some sort of catch up show on? I’m sure I read there’s a program lasted this week but can’t find it.

CatLoaf · 28/11/2022 19:33

Someone said there's a programme on Thursday?

Found it!!

9:15 - 10:20 Thursday 1st December

“Ant and Dec present coverage of what happened to campmates of the 2022 contest since they left the Australian base.”

bluebell34567 · 29/11/2022 08:57

ancientgran · 28/11/2022 11:58

@RoachTheHorse @CatLoaf and @bluebell34567 I think we can safely say MH wasn't the only one to leave his bag behind. Shows how these things can become a "fact" if we don't speak up. Glad we have managed correct that story.

unfortunately many things like that around. internet has become a minefield.

Looks likely he will have the whip restored

So that's the obligatory "went to hotel, had a baff and a burger..." type thing!

ArcaneWireless · 29/11/2022 16:45

I think it was Grant Shapps who said earlier that Matt Hancocks political career is over.

The gentleman mentioned above outcunts every miscalled Tory politician from their inception.

If one person’s career needs to be over? He only ties with that feckin stompy little horror in a skirt up here. (Not conservative - just a grade A waste of bastard air)

Dustyblue · 29/11/2022 18:10

I like Zara's dress and bare feet at the after party

Zara looks pregnant in one of those photos. How old is her youngest?

Ooh love it what an apt description !! Can’t stand the wee horror and that’s my polite description for her 🤣

Without googling her youngest son was born just before/after Prince Philip died as he has Philip in his name
