I was quite enjoying it till I idly flicked through ‘more episodes’ to see how many there were - and from the little episode previews you could see nothing had been resolved. I lost interest and gave up at that point (still somewhere in season 1 I think!)

So be interested to hear from people who actually finished it whether it was worth it.

I finished it. (Assuming we're talking about the American series with "A" and not something else?) I'd say it was engaging right up until the end. Without giving anything away, the last couple of episodes where they brought it all together was laughably terrible. So in my mind ai just delete the ending 😂

Yes! I saw this for season one just how many episodes there were but kept going on. Now I'm on season two half way through it's just getting more ridiculous.
Yes they know how to create interesting things but at the end of the day I just want to know who A is and surely they can't keep this up for 40 episodes?!

And I hope Emily sees sense with Maya at least.

Oh I wanted to love PLL but the ending is beyond ridiculous. If you can make it to the end of season 2 you’ll get an answer, i wouldn’t bother with the later seasons unless you have a lot of time and don’t mind loose ends!

Don’t do it 😂 the first series had such promise and it just gets more and more bloody stupid the more you watch

I do have time and I hate not finishing stuff. I can keep going to end of season two but I see there's 6 bloody seasons (or 7?!). Uft I don't like loose ends!

The last series might leave you with more questions and feeling frustrated for how many hours you wasted for that ending. I suggest powering thru until the end of series 2 and then see how you feel

I stuck with it, admittedly during COVID lockdown. The ending is utter crap but you do get some answers regarding A way sooner than that.

Gosh I watched it so long ago might give it another go - ending is unfortunately crap however I think the show is worth watching

I love Hannah, she's so funny.

I think I got as far as series 5 or 6, and that was too much pain. I should have quit far earlier. Series 1 is the best and only season you need to watch.

After that it is REPETITIVE, tedious and pointless.

I would never rewatch it as so many things make no logical sense or are as daft as a brush. But I enjoyed it at the time.

I am nearly 50 lol I appear to still love tean drama!

So shall recommend Netflix one of us is lying -10 episodes and a conclusion!

I watched that a few years ago. I loved it and binge watched most of it. The final season is really bad though, it all goes a bit weird in the same way that Vampire Diaries went a bit weird.

I watched it a long time ago but couldn’t preservers after the first few episodes of season 2. The first season was very enjoyable

Even though you know it's ridiculous and nonsensical, it's addictive! It's a good binge watch, I'd recommend sticking with it

I watched it all about 2 years ago. I did enjoy it but it does lose its way a bit and gets very far fetched. I would recommend carrying on but skipping the final season set 5 years on. Complete rubbish and unnecessary.

It's one of those series that I'll put on and leave running in the background while I do house work.

I really want to like Pretty Little Liars as everyone was raving about it. I've watched the first couple of episodes twice 😂. The first time it didn't grab my interest and I gave up around episode 3 or 4.

I hate not finishing things and heard that it got better so I thought I'd try it again. I'd forgotten what happened so had to start again! I've still not got passed where I finished last time and CBA to go any further.

I'm still going. Think I'm on season 2 episode 24
