I don't understand why they make them stay around until the very end? Fine if you want to but if you really just want to go home, I think that should be allowed. Has Charlene still not seen her kids then as think only her sister flew out to Australia? That seems particularly cruel and she should have been allowed to go home!

I guess the rationale is that their fee covers the entire period had they won, so it's not unreasonable for them to stay in Australia until the end. Probably also for someone like George, it's also to try to keep some control over him / the narrative so that the programme finishes well rather than all focus being on a specific camp mate who has gone early?

Who knows but still seems harsh to me and I'd let him go home if he really wants to!

If I was in charge of having to 'source' celebs for this show , I'd do a bit of research and realize that having someone as controversial as BG might not be a good idea. He was always someone who liked his own way and his past history shows someone who will not tow the line!
They knew it could be a gamble having him in there. You reap what you sow.
ITV have been stung , but it's not entirely his fault! His had money and exposure to people who may not have known who he was. It's win win for him though isn't it ?

Maybe they need to stay to earn their money. They are in a luxury hotel, all expenses paid. I can understand it if they need to get home, if BG mum was ill but they are getting paid a lot of money. Maybe if they gave up their fee they could leave early.

They'll be contractually required to stay until conclusion of the programme. No-one can stop them flying home early but there are likely to be clauses that say their fee will be reduced if they do.

I’d also like to Seann do a proper trial on his own, or with CM. Always willing to be proved wrong about some things, but I reckon they’d make a proper hash of it. They can be as entertaining as they like in the camp, but for me the game is won or lost on whether or not they can overcome their fears and push through the trials.
