True, Katya would be fun on it or big brother, she has a personality and lots of spark. The other Strictly people years ago were no good/boring/quit.

It could well have been for viewing figures. But I do think they knew the reception he would get (and got) in camp. If that isn’t for the drama then I don’t know what it is.

Just as well really because most of them have been dull. And they probably would have been hungry and fought like cats.

They cliqued up drama stylee because they thought he’d be universally hated/useless. Then he kept staying in and they realised that maybe they’d got it wrong and one by one they’ve been less cliquey (helped by Sue leaving).

BG was at least upfront. I wasn’t keen on the way he said it but it worked for the pair of them.

I think viewers and the drama go hand in hand and it is all engineered to make it so.

Don't you think it might just be,the producers edited out Matt recently, and didn't show any small bitching behind his back?
I do not believe that they all stopped having conversations, just cos Sue left and whoever else.
I mean some of them probably spoke quietly about Sue leaving, but the viewers didn't see these conversations.
We see next to nothing, and the chats shown are probably staged ones, where they are given topics to talk about, like what their parents did for a living.
George was probably much more used to life in camp and the people, and its easier when a group is smaller, but hes still a bitchy person, and I for one wanted to see more of that, rather than singing and happy camp.

Scarlette said every day/evening she had Debrief chats alone with Baba, getting anything off their chest, any annoyances, like the food or any drama, or people they were finding annoying.
We saw none of that,.

George did allude to contestants moaning. Maybe it would be better if they had somewhere they could go to debrief individually rather than group together, perhaps rhe phone box could be turned into a confessional.

I'm not sure having a "special friend" on reality shows is a good idea. It can easily get bitchy and cliquey and develop an "us v them" vibe.

I agree and think thats where sue and mike went wrong, chris and George were already friends but chris seems pretty jealous of seanne last night
