No thread yet?!

Millie Gibson - from Corrie, apparently. Looks good with the new Dr.

Exciting …

That's exciting!

I can't help noticing how skimpy her top is though.

CountryCousin · 18/11/2022 21:58

Don’t suppose the TARDIS receives a heating bill, so it’s probably warm. And she’ll be too busy running from hostile aliens to notice the weather in foreign universes!

But all this waiting till next November is very infantilising. It’s like being a child again, when Christmas seemed an eternity away.

What's happened to yaz?

IntrovertedPenguin · 18/11/2022 22:00

She reminds me of Rose Tyler.

I really thought they'd of gone with a different type of companion to kick start the new Russel T Davis era.

IntrovertedPenguin · 18/11/2022 22:01

Roll on November I can't wait for Tenant! Grin

CountryCousin · 18/11/2022 22:21

Yaz? Safe home, sad.

@IntrovertedPenguin perhaps the thinking was that having taken a leap with the new (utterly wondrous) Dr, they needed an almost retrospectively conventional (looking) companion to reassure any right wing viewers … 🤷🏽‍♀️

She does have an astonishing level of stardom to look forward to, though.

18 year old companion to a 30 year old man. Following on from a 35 year old female doctor whose male companion was 57 at the time of the first episode.

See a pattern here?

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 19/11/2022 16:32

Ruby Sunday sound a bit Bond girl somehow.

I'd love a human companion from a different era.

Not really no.

The last doctor had multiple companions, mostly younger than her.

Yes! Or team up with Missy!
and do they all, apart from Donna need to simper in tarty outfits? Grrrr.

Isn't Ruby Sunday a Rollingstones song?
