Absolutely loved it, just hoping we're getting an S3, plenty of material for one and I need to see Simon and Wille happy for more than 10 minutes.

I didn’t know there was another thread! I need to find it. I liked lots of things, like the actual decent portrayal of a counsellor.

I love it all and am obviously on the kid’s sides but I do look at it from a parental pov sometimes and think f* they are crazily young to be dealing with all this! And actually, if I was Wille’s mum I’d be bloody protecting him too! And 18 isn’t that long to wait to be official 😂😂😂 but I know it’s just a story.

I almost squealed when Simon said to Marcus that his fish don't have names, I know their names!

S6 of that dropped yesterday and I watched all of it, but no one else I know does.

Elite is marvellous, rich pretty people, drugs, alcohol, shagging, parties and there's a mystery that runs through each series.
Also the new Heartbreak High is good.

I love it! I watch with subtitles as the dubbed version is weird.

It's their own voices when it's dubbed.
I prefer subs too though.

When he has Wille in his room in S1, he asks the names of the fish, and Simon tells him
They're clearly about to get it on at the time, so then in a similar situation in S2 when Marcus asks the names and Simon doesn't tell him, it's clear he's remembering Wille asking.

Me too! I thought Simon was actually pretty unreasonable about it - Willie didn’t really want it to be a secret, he told people he actually knew, he just didn’t want it playing out in the world media. Simon’s friends kept going on about how shit Willie was and how badly he’d treated Simon. A bit harsh.

I was actually cringing a bit in his final speech. V sweet and all but I think a bit misguided. It’s so public and exposing! If were his mum I’d be pretty worried and a bit pissed off that he’d made this huge public declaration without any thought about the fallout.

I also thought they glossed over him pointing a loaded gun at someone’s face a bit too easily. I mean, August is the worst but that’s still pretty unstable and scary behaviour. I’d not be that up for dating someone who did that.

But still, I love it and find it weirdly compelling - I keep thinking about the characters!

I loved the speech, but I think I revert back to my 16yr old self when I watch, forgetting I'm almost 45!

Yes to all of this! The reality is they are kids and even the average parent would want to protect their kid from which is basically child abuse (to be filmed and put online!) and although giving up the crown might be the right thing, not for a 16 year old in his first relationship to know about.

Obviously 16 year old me is totally on their side though. 😂
