I know I'm very late to the party but have just finished watching this and feel it's just the most perfect TV show.

Having such strong female leads, with an amazing supporting cast.

Rogelio is just the best mix of camp and sexy! Love him.

Such a heartwarming TV series! It's made me want to watch a telenovela - if I could speak Spanish, I definitely would!

Only got near the end of the first season but yes, absolutely brilliant!!

Oh I loved this so much. I watched the whole lot last winter. Just loved it. The mixture of pure ridiculousness and seriousness is brilliant - with great characters too. Had a massive crush on Rafael.

Absolutely loved it. One of the best complete TV shows, so cleverly done between the farcical and the somber. Wish I could watch it for the first time all over again.

Glad I'm not alone in my love for it as no one I know in real life has seen it and when I try to describe it, I'm not making it appealing for them!

I've not seen any of the actors in anything else though, which surprises me (other than the Factor lady, she's been in quite a few things I've watched).

I can still make myself cry (only mild spoilers), thinking about what originally happened to Michael.

I've started it recently too! Always tell my fiancé I'm watching, 'my lovely telenovela'! It's a wonderful show.

I've tried and do watch it but it's not the same for me at all so still only on season 1 when I started it ages ago (way before I started Jane).

I know! I couldn't believe how many times something so farcical and unbelievable made me cry big fat tears! Just amazing!

The way Gina Rodriguez acted in THAT scene (if you’ve seen it you know which one I mean) was unbelievable. I cried big fat ugly tears.

it has some of the best character development in any show and Petra is a goddess

I just love how gloriously over the top Rogelio is. He could have easily become an irritant caricature, but he has so many different layers to him

Jane is one of my comfort shows and I absolutely loved the ending

Loved this. It will always hold a specially place for me as my teenage DD and I would sit down and watch this together. Lived the time spent together <3

We’ve just finished modern family rewatch so think this could be worth a revisit, we did love it first time around

I might need to do a Modern Family rewatch as haven't watched those since they finished. Are they on Netflix?

I may have a cat named Rogelio. Totally not a big fan of the show
