Does anyone else feel a bit deflated after today's episode? I hate that it's become political. It's allure was that it was fun, easy-watching entertainment.

I would much prefer it without MH in it TBH.

Rwandaiszero · 09/11/2022 22:59

He's ruined it

RosettaStormer · 09/11/2022 22:59

Let’s hope he gets voted off asap.

Bobbybobbins · 09/11/2022 23:03

He's an idiot. I think impact of covid is still very fresh for a lot of people (including me-lost uncle) for it to be very funny.

Greenshake · 09/11/2022 23:06

I am going to go against the grain and say that I quite enjoyed it, especially as I have never seen it before. To be truthful, the only reason I am watching it is MH. I can see this descending into horrendous bullying though which is going to be unpleasant viewing.

ARoastPotato · 09/11/2022 23:07

Yes, Matt Hancock totally ruined it for me. I’ll record tomorrows so I can fast forward any bits with him on!

Tailfeather · 09/11/2022 23:09

He's definitely stirred things up a bit, but it's just all so awkward and uncomfortable. I used to love the show for it's basic feel-good vibes. And there are some great celebs in there who will now be overshadowed. Ah well. I'll still be watching tomorrow!!

Yes I agree. Clearly the other camp mates felt the same and I felt very sorry for them, having their experience totally ruined by this prick going in. Bad decision by ITV, terrible judgement (no bloody surprise there) by MH.

Boomboom22 · 09/11/2022 23:13

He was surprisingly hilarious. And up for anything, no flinching which was good. But yes bullying. He can't be held responsible for political decisions by celebs in the jungle!
I would never have turned it on without him in it though! Disgusting creepy crawlies will give me nightmares. I wasn't concentrating when they entered main camp so didn't see an atmosphere, will watch tomorrow.

Not sure it’s a bad decision by ITV, I imagine this will generate huge viewing figures.

I thought it was better than usual, hopefully BG will flounce

User438651209 · 09/11/2022 23:23

Isn't there already a IACGMOOH thread

PiffleWiffleWoozle · 09/11/2022 23:25

Boy George is a far more disappointing choice given his prior conviction for kidnapping and violence.

Heartstopper · 09/11/2022 23:27

Personally, I have always preferred the years when there is tension. Gillian Mckeith and Lady Colin Campbell spring to mind. I was getting distinctly bored until tonight's episode.

KurriKawari · 09/11/2022 23:52

I'm glad the other celebs did ask him what he was doing there. I found some of Ant & Dec's laughter more immature than usual.

Greenshake · 10/11/2022 00:11

Yeah, that stupid Karma Chameleon joke is knackered already

There's one that people post on as they actually watch the show, and a couple moaning about Boy George being on it.

Exactly! How he has the audacity to cast judgement on Matt Hancock.
