Anyone watching this. Documentary about the work of the coroner and their office. Sad but fascinating.

It was good wasn’t it, obviously very sad for the families but interesting to see what happens behind the scenes

I live in Preston, the current episode is filmed a stones throw from my house. Sad but I made an assumption it was suicide.

@IhateJan22 I didn't think it was because he was described as standing straight up. How on earth did he escape with no physical injury after quite a big fall though.

I am now. I think if I had my career over again I’d have liked to be a coroner. A mixture of investigation and examination of evidence, together with empathy and kindness.

@AssumingDirectControl yes. I'd quite like to be a coroner's officer. That looks like a really interesting role. I wonder how you get into it..

Surprised that they covered cases tonight that are all must a year to the day since they died. I'd have thought they'd have avoided showing that family on such a sensitive date..
