I’ve binged this and it was really good. Initially I was a bit annoyed with the ending but after a scout round the internet and finding out the writers have the template for three seasons I’m less annoyed and just have lots of questions!

I wish I’d picked up on it but I saw on Reddit the point that Gideon was experimenting on the guy he kidnapped to see if he could influence an aversion to sex/blood in people who do horrific things - completely missed the connection that Ravi has a massive blood phobia. I want to know what he got up to in other timelines now!

Definitely agree with rewatching s1. It does remind you exactly how ruthless Gideon is.

Yellow jumper man may be Gideon trying to prevent something even worse, I suppose - eg in s1 where he killed the 'runaway' drug dealer teenager to prevent him killing someone else, but social worker Lucy wanted to save the teenager.

Or someone who was saved by Gideon but turned out to be a baddie themselves?

I don’t think we’ve seen any evidence or hint that there can be more than one instance of each person on any given loop.

the consensus seems to be that it’s Jonah, suddenly his name started appearing at the end of the season (eg Evelyn writing him a letter), also the significance of the teddy bears in the shop (his back sorry always shows a teddy bear) But obviously it’s just speculation, it could be a character that we don’t know yet.

Do you think? Evelyn is approx 10 years younger than Gideon, and her brother maybe a couple of years older than her.

But of course, there are plenty of people who live because of Gideon's actions - his brother had a DD but maybe a DS as well...

One thing we've wondered about is Ravi's aversion to blood. They keep referencing it.... wonder if it's going to turn out that in a previous loop Gideon managed to use aversion therapy on him.

I don't think we've got enough other possible characters to not think yellow hoody is Jonah. It can't be Isaac, too complicated.

Watched an interview with Lucy and Gideon actors. She said that the Lucy in season three is different to the previous two.....My Dh wonders whether season three will follow Ravi rather than Lucy.

Anyone know how long we will have to wait???

Maybe my yellow jumper theory isn't quite right but I've convinced myself it's a main character. Either Gideon or Lucy. Realising that stopping the toy shop bomb has altered something significant to them. They killed/did aversion therapy on the original culprit and have now had to take his/her place to carry out the bomb.

Too complicated! Maybe I'm watching it too late at night.

@NonPlayerExtra I don’t think Gideon or Lucy can be in more than one timeline at once, only Isaac can move between them, because he is only real in social worker Lucy timeline.

Soo.. it's Isaac because he needs the bomb to happen otherwise he won't be born because Lucy will be living happily in her police officer timeline.

Hmmm... possibly.

The interrogation of Gideon by police officer Lucy, in the early part of s2, was about one of the other crimes he committed, I think? And that is where he persuaded her into visiting him in jail before she died, and telling him about her mum, and hence kickstarting the social worker timeline.

But why would yellow jumper Isaac be in social worker Lucy's timeline, because the bomb wasn't required in that timeline?
