With the exception of Matt, I think bad production decisions have played a big role in sending celebs home this year. Kaye, Richie, Jayde and James all had routines that were doomed at inception.

The right decision tonight. I disliked Fleur's dance, but she's by far the better dancer.

Tbf all the judges have a very vivid recollection of Saturday's performances

We're about 5 mins behind. What's wrong with Motsi!? She's talking very slowly and she's not with it atall. She wasn't in her seat for most of Fleurs dance.

Quoting myself to add, I think those four people were likely to go home early anyway, but I just don't like the feeling that people weren't given a fighting chance by being given duff themes and music.

Exactly and if it was down to racism how come Hamza wasn't in the dance of or Tyler. It was James who is white.

I agree - there were some awful costumes and music tonight, even by Strictly's standards which aren't high

I think there is too much faffing, tunes that don’t make sense and not enough beautiful, traditional gowns/dances

i agree @EsmaCannonball some dancers are doomed the second they start rehearsing

I don't think it was racism either - I think both Fleur and James are just somehow forgettable when it comes to their dances.

Fleur's very skilled - James less so, but they are both somehow very "vanilla".

Fleur is going to be put in the "Confident young woman; let's take her down a notch!" box. Don't think she will make it into the final, certainly not with Vito's duff choreo.

I expect Helen or Will to win now. Have we ever had a season with so many new or newish pros?

I know! He’s just 5/6 weeks of dance training with a professional dancer and he can’t do better than shuffley dad dance.
