What is the hand maids tale about and is it good? Thanks

Female oppression in near future US under a fundamentalist society. Based on the famous book by Margaret Atwood. Harrowing in places as very close to the bone. I thinks it's very good.

I think it's one of the best things I've ever seen. Harrowing at times. I've watched through my fingers more than once abs the first few series made me cry every week.

It’s a hard watch sometimes, but addictive.

It's brilliant, and with the current weirdness in US mot so hard to believe. You do need to start from series 2 though.
