It’s coming to an end now but it’s been really lovely programme about the Barbour factory in South Shields - what an amazing collection of specialist people taking pride in their work. I needed a cheer up with all the crap that’s going on in the world

It was a great reminder that there are so many wonderful, skilful, good-hearted people in this country when the whole place seems to be going down the pan - thoroughly recommend to anyone who missed it!

I watched it too - DS has Barbour jackets. I looked at their website but they don't do many large sizes, so that made me a bit sad as I wanted to buy one. Still, I guess I could always get one for DS.

Ha - sorry posted too soon, I thought it was very interesting what she said about the company doing well because money being invested back into it because it was run by women so they didn't buy yatchs and super cars etc.
