YEY. just seen the new season is starting 23 October. I binge watched the others earlier in the month so can’t wait for it to start again. The ending was a shocker that I didn’t see coming. I can’t wait to see where they’re taking it. Will serena joy get let go because she was under his orders AND she’s having a baby. Or will she get put into jail and baby taken away when he’s born.

It has just become the June vs Serena show.

Why would Canada let Gilead set up an embassy

I know she's traumatised I'm just finding June unbearable.

I hope June doesn't get caught doing something stupid and pointless to get at Serena. She's not thinking very rationally, it seems.

I think I prefer June when she's leading handmaids into improbable situations.

Me too! I like to think of her as a super hero, not an irrational, flawed human. Though, if I were her, I'd really want to wipe that smug look off Serena's face...

I like that they are making June unlikable and fixated with her trauma. It almost makes it more believable!!!! If she was happy and living her best life the story would have become quite boring and twee.

I thought she'd be back in Gilead by now.

Realistically, if the refugees are pointing guns at people and firing them into the air, the Canadians are going to get fed up with them. Canada really relies on the trade with the US, they’ll be much poorer (and more in danger of invasion) now that Gilead is in power.

I might be a bit off track but isn’t Luke a middle class guy from Boston? Him knowing how a gun works is surprising.

The plotholes are now becoming mildly ridiculous.
Serena being the complete Gilead believer..but living in Canada ,wearing normal clothes and reading and writing and making decisions..ummmm....no sorry that's not the Gilead way...plus she isn't married.
What exactly are we supposed to believe the character thinks is going to happen.serena is not stupid, she knows full well what her position in Gilead is...low ...no commander husband, no power. She wants the baby...any half wit in her position would be cutting tied with Gilead asap.

Why did the ICS just drop the case against her ?

How are Moira,June and Luke financing their lives...no one goes to work ..but they seem to live in a nice house,drive a car..drink wine.?

Why is Canada suddenly anti refugees when last series and before it was welcoming, and there where anti Gilead campaigns etc. If it is because Toronto is becoming overrun with refugees from Gilead..why is it seemingly so much easier to get out now as to for example the first or second series?

Who looks after Nicole when the three of them are wandering around looking moody ?

I'm so over June and her stare once that comes you know its the end of the episode.

I know that Moira was one of those people who help refugees once they get into Canada - perhaps Luke does the same (or does whatever he did before Gilead). It would be good if June could get a publisher job (or maybe work on a newspaper, she could write about what she found at the Boston Globe in series 2).
