Frozen Planet too hard to watch

Apologies if there is another thread on this. I posted on a thread under film discussions but no traffic.

i watched the 2nd Frozen Planet and in places it was too hard to watch as the first was. The running theme that we are all to blame for the melting of the ice and climate change as a furry white seal pup gets swept away from its mother on a block of ice. The narrative that very few pups survive as they're not strong enough to swim in the fierce ocean. The look of terror in its huge eyes. Awful. The end showed the boat and divers swimming with the pup and made me wonder if we are to blame, why can't we do something to help the poor thing instead of just watching it drift away

I watched something similar years ago. It was polar bears though. The poor little baby trying to find some ice to rest on, exhausted and trying to keep swimming 😥 I can't watch them anymore.
But I do wonder if we humans can build underwater restaurants and floating islands for tourism or just because somebody wanted to try it out, why can't we do mini floating island things along their most common routes for them to use? Then humans are only involved in helping them from afar.

As others are saying, the solution is to stop ruining the environment so the entire ecosystem can remain in balance, which includes humans. Not to try to provide individual solutions to save one animal or one species at a time. We’re all linked together.

This environmental crisis of climate change, plastic pollution, air pollution, is happening all around us and is not about the loss of a few cute animal species. We humans will starve and be turned out of our homes by drought or floods, too. We need huge political action by governments working together to turn this around in time and consumers doing their bit.
