Help! What tv show am I thinking of?

DH and I have just been watching the latestTaskmaster on catch up, and the task where one of the blokes was putting his face in flour to get grapes out with his teeth triggered a memory of an old (kids’?) game show, where contestants had to put their faces into trays of things like jam, then something like feathers to get an item out with their mouth.

I’ve got a vivid image of it, but can’t for the life of me remember what it was called, or who the presenter was.

Please tell me I haven’t dreamt it - it’s driving me mad!

CrapBucket · 10/10/2022 23:31

oh I loved

CrapBucket · 10/10/2022 23:32

Oh I loved those kind of shows! I was mainly the Live and Kicking era.

Tailfeather · 10/10/2022 23:34

Agh! I know what you mean but can't remember either....

Alsoplayspiccolo · 10/10/2022 23:40

Crackerjack does sound the likeliest.
It wasn’t gunk being poured on them, it was them having to stick their face into a tray of something to find an object - a bit like I’m a Celebrity, but with trays of jelly, custard, feathers etc.
