Firstly, how annoying that after becoming accustomed to binge watching entire series,' Netflix seems to want to return to the weekly episode model.
But also....this is good telly! Anyone else watching it? I have been 100% certain in my mind since episode one who the mole is. Anyone care to share their thoughts?

Although I will say it's so blatantly scripted. This concept of the contestants narrating their own experiences , a la MasterChef USA, etc. really does alter these types of show. You realise you're being played as a viewer as much as the contestants are.

I loved the original years ago.
This is not as fun with them all similar age, typical reality types.
But I'm still enjoying it.

When the woman spoke up not to bring the evicted chap back, my jaw hit the floor.

I change my mind all the the time. I'm so not observant. They're all a bit shit at the tasks which makes it hard.

I might have to wait until the whole series is on Netflix … I can never remember who is who if there is a gap of more than a few hours between episodes! 🤣

We used to watch it the olden days too.

I'm up,to date now and there are no more epipen until Friday. And then there is another week until two more. That's just not going to work for my goldfish brain. Whilst I do intend to watch it again, I bet I don't. I'll have forgotten all about in in a week!

I'm really enjoying this too and have got to the end of the first lot of episodes. Really easy watching ! I think the mole is Joi after her appalling navigation skills in the first challenge.

I think the Mole is Avori. The one that we least expected. Here are my reasons. For the Tree challenge, she was the first to go up. And pretended like that there were so many knots. The 2nd person went up the tree and untangled all the knots so easily. Avori also tried to sabotage the prize pot twice. She looked inside the Dossier to reduce the pot by 10,000 and she was the first person to immediately walk out of the room for the code challenge to hit the red buzzer without even giving a minute to discuss with the rest when Greg said “Wait let’s talk about this first”, Avori just stormed out to the clue room. That cost another 10,000. For the money counting challenge, she kept blaming Jacob for not counting the money right and she said she will recount everything that the first 2 people counted because she didn’t trust them. How the heck did you get it wrong in a recount? Avori is blaming Jacob for counting it wrong and she rectified it and the count was still wrong? For the running challenge, she said that she’s a runner and she barely ran. She walked for most of the time. Why say that you are runner in the first place? Get on the train or car if you can’t run. The sea-plane challenge was so blatant. Also, I answered the QR code questions that came up at the end of the 5th episode. And it said that I’m on the right track.🤷‍♂️

I’m really enjoying this. I’ve seen the first five and watching the new ones today.

I think the mole is Kesi.

To me Avori is very expected, especially given she’s a professional gamer. So either she’s a double bluff or nah.

My other choice for the mole is Will.

InsertSomethingMotivationalHere · 15/10/2022 07:05

I'm certain it's Avori too.

Any one else finished it?

I was surprised that the person who didn't win, who wasn't the mole made it to the final.

I loved the money in the ice challenge.

Bump4Xmas · 21/10/2022 20:06

Just watched the finale today. DH and I were convinced we had it but wavered on the last episode.

It’s very hard to tell the difference between those who are crap at the challenges and mole behaviour!

Avori was the Queen of the double bluff so I never knew if she was lying.
Will was so genuine and seemed to be the only one working towards getting them any money. But then that would be the perfect cover.
Kesi seemed a bit of a drip especially during the bank heist.
Jacob was such a bad liar that it made me wonder if he was trying to get caught out.
Joi felt like a big fed flag from day 1. Betting $25k from the pot, a pilot who couldn’t read a map and was afraid of heights?!

@jay55 Agreed!! I have no idea how they made it that far.
The ice challenge was great, I think 3 of the 4 displayed mole behaviour in that snow!

jay55 · 21/10/2022 20:33

I loved that Will's attempt to display Mole like behaviour was sabotaged by ineptitude (or another double bluff I could never tell).

I'm sure in the old version they'd say how many people guessed the mole right. Or something.
I wished they'd shown who people guessed each round.
