Omg the itv app is so bad

Don't use it much but been trying to watch Karen pirie ( which is great )
Because it's over two hours with adverts every 7 minutes or less, we can't watch it all in one go.
When you watch the next night, it gives you option to resume, runs adverts then goes back to the bloody beginning again , then you have to fast forward and watch more adverts to get back to where you were , literally takes 20 minutes to just start rewatching .

Yes! I have this complaint too. It was driving me mad the other day.

I also pay so I don’t have to sit through the adverts (same with All4).

I find all the streaming apps pretty crap to use (including iPlayer)

I just pay for Britbox, you can more or less guarantee most dramas on mainstream channels are on there within a couple of months of being on TV, Doc Martin is on the day after it is on ITV, no adds to interrupt viewing.

It’s horrendous and not fit for purpose.

@Nat6999 Do they put current series on as well as older ones?
So if I wanted to watch last night’s episode of Married at First sight for example would it be there or do you always have to wait?

it’s cheaper than paying separately for All4 and ITV but not sure it’s worth it for me unless it has current episodes.

OMG I have been thinking exactly the same thing. I’m trying to watch Love Island USA and the amount of adverts is ridiculous. And I’ve noticed that it isn’t remembering where you left off and keeps taking me back to an old episode. Also it’s just the same 3 or 4 ads on rotation every 7 minutes. Sooo infuriating. They bloody Barrista oat milk and Stella bloody Macartney Audi ad are doing my nut in!!

Its making it totally unwatchable.
