Ok. New 5 part drama starting Monday 3 oct. Running for 5w staring Stephen Graham

At the centre of the drama is Stephen’s character , Matthew Collins, a reformed Neo-Nazi. Now working as an activist and journalist for the anti-racist organisation, Hope not Hate, Matthew leads the fight against the far right, with a despicable threat putting them back in the spotlight.

the Walk-In is described by ITV as a “thought-provoking” and "stirring" drama and sees Stephen star alongside Jason Flemyng, Game of Thrones’ Dean Charles Chapman and Leanne Best.

The drama will put viewers into the heart of events, exploring how Matthew was forced to flee the UK and go into hiding in the 1990s after he became a mole from within the BNP.

Following his reform, he returns home to root out radicalisation of young white under threat of falling under the spell of the far right.

His tactics are simple; infiltrate the organisations through moles or walk-ins with the aim of publishing information online about their activities.

It is a move that will both expose them and fracture the group in a bid to stop their threats. However, even after the murder of MP Jo Cox in 2016, Matthew knows they are far from done.

Within months of her murder, Matthew receives an email from someone claiming to be a member of the Neo-Nazi group he’s been investigating. It makes claims about a horrific plan to murder a second MP, but can Matthew foil the plot it before it’s too late?

I’m watching this now. 2 episodes in and enjoying it but horrified at the same time.

I’ve enjoyed this - some great acting - the very posh children don’t quite match their Mum and Dad

Interested to see these views. Personally I didn't love it. I would still leave home for Stephen Graham though. 😆

I found Matthew to be not very endearing. I didn't feel much of a struggle. The bits around Jo Cox were done well but I dont rate it as one of SGs best works. It fell quite flat on occasions.

An MP who was the target of a murder plot has spoken out in parliament against what she called a “stupid” ITV series that depicts the foiling of the plan to kill her.

Rosie Cooper, the Labour MP for West Lancashire, said that she is being used as a “marketing tool” by the broadcaster and the campaign group Hope Not Hate and that they should donate money generated by The Walk-In, which began last month, to a charity set up in the name of a murdered MP.

I found much of it upsetting, but never thought what it might mean to Rosie Cooper, or in fact Jo Cox's family.

But did think it was a bit too PR for Hope Not Hate. :(
