Who's going to watch This Morning tomorrow?

I reckon tomorrow's viewing figures will be sky high with so many tuning in to see what pathetic excuses Phil and Holly come out with. Genuinely don't know how they are going to try and wriggle their way out of this one. I have set to record as I will be working when it's on live.

No I'm not a fan of the show or either of them, I find them both irritating. I wouldn't sign the petition to get them both sacked though. What they did was bad but they're not murderers. To actively try to damage someone's career and income (regardless of however many millions they might have to fall back on) unless they've committed a serious crime is just downright wrong.

over50andfab · 19/09/2022 20:43

Who. Cares.

Isaidnoalready · 19/09/2022 20:45

The are smug smug smug as hell I would be content with them being less in your face everywhere

Cudz · 19/09/2022 20:45

A lot of people actually. If you don't care that's fine, no need to read the thread and then reply to it.

They were found out. A reason has been provided. Accept it or don't. They've had their punishment being called out over social media. Let it go. Who cares!!

There are more important things to worry about than Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield. These might include Liz Truss, the economy, the cost of fuel (all kinds), what that is doing to the cost of food.

EddieHowesBlackandWhiteArmy · 19/09/2022 20:50

I thought they were there in their capacity as broadcasters so not queuing for 12+ hours was probably the right thing to do.

Unlike David Beckham who was there in his capacity as ‘celeb most desperate to get a knighthood’ and therefore making him partake in The Queue was undoubtedly correct.

However in answer to the question, no I won’t be watching because I don’t really give a hoot. And certainly would take no joy in the presenters discomfort.

Who. Cares.

This!!! This is pathetic. Who actually cares?!! This country is crazy

Exasperatednow · 19/09/2022 20:58

I have a life and will be doing that.

It's bonkers that people don't have more to think about.

Yet here you are, on a thread about something that you’re far to busy to think about. 😂

MrsBennetsPoorNerves · 19/09/2022 21:01

I don't imagine that many people have the time to care about this, let alone to sit and watch This Morning just because of it!

Only those with nothing better to do...

User1754983 · 19/09/2022 21:01

I think people only watch it in the holidays when it is other presenters as there are usually threads on here about it then, no one seems to like Phil and Holly so don't watch it.

Arnaquer · 19/09/2022 21:03

No. I have a life.

Twilightimmortal · 19/09/2022 21:03

I'm watching it to see what this Tuesday segment they needed to skip the queue was about. Unless they were allowed their own cameras in the Abbey, I dont see how them skipping the queue could be justified.

Plus seeing Holly with a covid mask 😷, like she doesn't want to catch regular people's germs.

BlueEyedcat · 19/09/2022 21:03

What have they actually done wrong ?

They have presented this morning for years-they cover current affairs as part of that so it seems plausible they were there in a work capacity ? It’s not as if theyve been presenting a quiz for just two weeks and abused their position ? Isn’t it possible that they were working ?

I know they aren’t well liked but this seems like a witch hunt

User1754983 · 19/09/2022 21:05

I'm surprised people are on a thread about it if they don't watch it, I watch it sometimes as I am retired so sometimes don't have anything better to do, I like the first bit when they all argue about stuff in the news so will probably watch it tomorrow for about half hour or so

User1754983 · 19/09/2022 21:10

It was odd about the mask, I'm sure she had Covid in the last few months, maybe she had a cold

Sparklingbrook · 19/09/2022 21:10

If I am home when it starts I'll be tuning in out of curiosity but wouldn't be wanting to watch the whole show.

It's Monday on a bank holiday.

THe UK is like vendetta nation where people go all out to get people for anything that doesn't fit their narrow view of how the rules should be, having first distorted relevant information to make it fit said made up rules.

From that point of view its fascinating. Otherwise, why would you have time and the inclination to be bothered.

User1754983 · 19/09/2022 21:14

It will be quite strange if they do the news bit with the guests and they are the news topic😬

themonkeysnuts · 19/09/2022 21:23

Can't stand the pair of them. there was no need for them to be there

Because some people do have time and spend it differently to you. Imagine that. 😂

Starlightstarbright1 · 19/09/2022 21:27

Nope.. i will be at work.

Prescottdanni123 · 19/09/2022 21:39

Whether you like Phillip and Holly or not, I think that their reasons will be pretty obvious. They were there in a press capacity, two people in press related jobs using the press queue.
