It starts on Ch 5 on feb 11th

deiter and susan were still in the new titles for ch 5

so perhaps as she survives susan doesn't have any problem like jail etc.

Do we know what time it will be shown on Ch5?

And do we know what the BBC are going to try and tempt us to stay over there with? Hope it won't be All Saints, I liked that last year.

RTKangaMummy · 24/01/2008 10:19

In the afternoon it is weakest link

and that means that children's tv is being changed to make room for 45 mins of anne robindson

which I think is sad for children especially the older ones who watch dramas or blue peter etc

then newsround

RTKangaMummy · 24/01/2008 10:25

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPS got the name wrong misread the name

Five has today announced the timeslots for Neighbours, and it's good news for long-term fans. The show will be broadcast on weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm, almost the exact times it has been shown on BBC One for over twenty years.

It was also announced that Neighbours will get a Saturday omnibus on Five at 12.30pm (which will also be shown on Sundays on Five Life) and a catch-up showing on Five's sister channel, Five Life.

UPDATE: We've since had it confirmed that, as on BBC One, the 1.45pm showing will be a new episode, with the 5.30pm episode a repeat. The show will be sponsored on Five by Weight Watchers.

DH turned it over to bbc1 last night. just at the point where susan was crying and saying 'I killed a child!'
I've recorded the episode so haven't seen it yet. cue much swearing at DH!

purplemonkeydishwasher · 24/01/2008 10:26

weight watchers?
LOLOLOLOL

RTKangaMummy · 24/01/2008 10:27

It is cos they call her deit or something like that

Her bro calls her something weird

OP posts:
RTKangaMummy · 24/01/2008 10:28

I absolutely HATE THE WW ADVERTS

I always turn them off or volume down

OP posts:
purplemonkeydishwasher · 24/01/2008 10:30

they call her 'Didge'

So you even WATCH neighbours?? (actually you probably just don't watch it with subtitles on like i do because DS is singing Scooby doo at the top of his lungs making any TV watching virtually impossible. Is 25 minutes of NON CHILDRENS TV too much to ask??)

RTKangaMummy · 24/01/2008 10:37

I like Doctors so it is stupid to put neighbours againast it on ch 5 IMHO

OP posts:
RTKangaMummy · 24/01/2008 10:39

Doctors and nieighbours are the only SOAPS I watch

Pure escapism and silly plotlines

My DS is 12 and so is in school

When I am working as a Childminder I record them and watcjh in evening

nortynamechanger · 24/01/2008 10:44

Ok I don't get to watch it often and need some help please...

What is wrong with Susan to make her so tired? Was she really driving the car?

I have loved it since it first started but my DCs teatime is 5.30ish so I only get to watch it occasionaly... tea has been mysteriously late a few times in the last week

RTKangaMummy · 24/01/2008 10:53

Yes in true neighbours syle and tradition she was falling asleep \all the time and now seems to habve forgotten to sleep all time

Yes she was driving car ands fell asleep at wheel and drove up on curb

didn't see her after she had hit her cos she had FOR SLAE sign in back window

WOO-HOO!!

thank you for the info RTKanga ... simply wonderful news (I was wondering when the swap over was going to happen)

comfytoast · 24/01/2008 16:44

Susan goes on trial but bridget remembers that she fell into the cars path so Susan is freed ,Libby and her son come back and Susan is diagnosed with MS

bohemianbint · 24/01/2008 16:45

You'd think Susan's bizarre narcolepsy thing would be mitigating circumstances no? Poor Suze.

comfytoast · 24/01/2008 16:45

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Susan_Kinski

minko · 25/01/2008 18:22

Ooo good news about the timings! I still wonder if there's anything in the theory that Susan is actually covered in tattoos, what with her ALWAYS wearing long sleeves no matter what the weather.

Oh and whilst we're on the subject - don't you think Docotrs has upped it's game since it's changed times. Must have a new director. It's all sex and intrigue now and less verrucas and senile old duffers.
