So, does anyone know what the newspaper lies were that Sharon was talking about in relation to Tabby????

I've been Googling ever since but can't find anything. I know I'm sad, but I really want to know

Maybe she's talking about the two page article in today's Daily Mail. Headline says "The X Factor star who has beguiled the viewers (and Sharon Osbourne) has lived on benefits all his life and left behind his girlfriend and bandmates in pursuit of fame". Goes on to talk about how he still lives at home with parents rather than with girlfriend/mother of his child, and how jealous she is of his new found fame.

popsycal · 27/11/2004 20:45

check out the tabloids...that is what i am about to do online

misdee · 27/11/2004 20:45

his baby is lovely and chubby tho.

stupidgirl · 27/11/2004 21:07

Is that all, Earlybird? I thought there was going to be lots of gossip. Nothing very exciting then.

God hate scabby - why would anyone vote for him and so what if he has a kid and an ugly girlfriend - they both look like paid up members of the great unwashed!! - And as for G4 and poor old blondies giving it the sore throat for the sympathy vote and then throwing in some tears for his sick mum - the lengths some people will go!!

ooo forgot how cathartic a good old rant was!!!

misdee · 27/11/2004 21:40

what a shock, rowetta going out (sarcasm needed) we knew simon was gonna lose an act 2nite.

mrsmiawallace · 27/11/2004 21:44

obviously! but g4 still there???????????????????
come on!!!
and tabby is more a good performer than singer, with a load back up..dont you think?
steve still there..weheeyyy

rockdaddy · 27/11/2004 21:50

I have to say this x factor program is rather tedious, it is nothing more than commercial karaoke; tabby a rock star! (yeah and i'm David Beckham), i reckon saturday nights on tv just get worse and worse and thats bearing in mind mr blobby and Noel Edmonds are not on the tele anymore!, its no wonder most people go out or just go to bed early on Saturday evenings.
oops! must get off my soap box

mrsmiawallace · 27/11/2004 21:56

i agree david!
not even a good film or some corny family fortunsy type thing!
just 'im an attention seeker, please revive my flagged career, set in a pretend jungle or 5 upper class insurance sales men, with slapped cheek syndrome huffing and puffing there way into a christmas number one!

misdee · 27/11/2004 21:57

your right rockdaddy, i am thinking that cant sing singers on bbc might be better viewing at times. will be better once they get into it and past the singing laaaaaaaa bits anyway.

misdee · 27/11/2004 21:58

5??? lol

Earlybird · 27/11/2004 22:02

For all you Tabby fans......

there is alot more in the article about his parents, and how his mum (a cleaner) would take him to the clubs were she worked, stand him on the bar and ask all to listen to him sing because she said he'd be a superstar one day. Lost his virginity at 12, experimented with soft drugs, and got his first tattoo at 16. He's never tried to work as he lives at home and claims unemployment benefit so he can pursue music dream..

More details about his first band, and then his second band who he actually entered the competition with. Show judges said the rest of the band weren't good enough, so he should go solo - which he did. Ex band are publicly supporting him, but privately are afraid they'll be dumped. Current girlfriend (and mum of his child) is also afraid she'll be dumped if he succeeds. She's older than him (5 years), and was pregnant accidentally within a year of being with him. He wasn't happy about it, but has been a good dad - though he chooses not to live with her and baby. Article talks about her being jealous/insecure now, and phoning the production team on the show demanding to know where he is when she can't reach him. She came to London 2 weeks ago and they had a huge screaming public row at a hotel bar where she headbutted him. Production team had to pull them apart and Sharon (who was there) also yelled at him in public saying the stress was detrimental to his performances.

Final bit of article talks about music executives plotting about how best to mold him for future success (going for '70's glam rocky punk image like "the Sweet"). Says there are many offers on the table even from America which has angered Simon Cowell as he has first shot at signing him. Sharon says she'll manage him. And he says that by this time next year he'll release his own solo version of "Do they know it's Christmas". I think that covers the highlights....for those who wanna know!

mrsmiawallace · 27/11/2004 22:06

4?
maybe had a glas too many tonight?

Gobbledigook · 27/11/2004 22:06

Forget the 'singers' - what on earth was Kate Thornton wearing? She looked like she had her granny's nightie on!

JoolsToo · 27/11/2004 22:09

I'm posting this from the other thread - god I'm mad with Rowetta!

I was sweating there a bit but good old STEVE is there!

That bloody Roweta has just told everyone to vote for that scabby cat Tabby - Traitor!!! I'm glad SHE didn't get through!

Can't bear Steve. I thought Rowetta was miles better - and he knew Simon would have voted him off if he had the choice between him and Rowetta. Personally thought Tabby was fab tonight - haven't liked him till now, but really liked the Bon Jovi. G4 aren't really a group are they - it's more Jonathan and 3 blokes in suits. Marina - if you read this - is this typical of them?

There was no bottom two Socci - everyone sang again (I think!) and then you had to vote again! A right scam to rake in cash!

Wheresmyfroggy · 27/11/2004 22:27

socci-they didn't do the bottom two thing tonight.......just turfed out one with least votes!
