Five days at Memorial - Apple TV

It's about Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, and the impact on a hospital. It's tryly shocking and horrific. I'm on episode 3 and not sure I can continue watching.

I’m waiting until all the episodes are up to watch it. I’ve Googled it, the reality of what happened sounds truly horrific.

I remember Hurricane Katrina and how truly horrific it was, but I had no idea just how bad hospitals had it. You always think that hospitals are always first priority in such conditions,

what happened was beyond horrific , I felt very tense just watching the hospital Managing company in Dallas ignoring their pleas for help and they can’t take all the blame , it’s a big Operation . the State of Louisiana literally abandoned them,

its not an easy series to watch but very gripping at the same time.

Just watching this at the moment. I just can’t believe how they just abandoned them.
It is a very difficult watch.

I forgot to come and post again after I’d seen it all. If it had been advertised as fiction, I would have scoffed and thought what a load of tosh, that would never happen. Truly unbelievable how they were abandoned.
I thought Vera Farmiga as Tony’s Soprano’s Mum in The Many Saints of Newark was wonderful and was looking forward to her performance in this. But I really didn’t like her character and didn’t enjoy seeing her in this.
But having said that, I think that this deserves a far wider audience, as does a lot of other series I’ve watched on Apple.

I've just searched to see if there was a thread on this as I'm halfway through.

It's heartbreaking. I can't believe they were just left like that, and the people who were stood round waiting to go and help but had no orders or whatever.

The bit with the pets though 😢😢😢
