Blackbird on Apple TV

Blackbird is a show on Apple TV about serial killer Larry Hall, starring Taron Egerton as another convict helping the FBI. It's based on a true story.

Has anyone else watched it? It was really tense, with great performances from the two main leads. I haven't really been impressed with Egerton in other things but he was amazing in this.

I have had Apple TV for a month and have binged a few shows, but this one is one of the best.

Excellent, just watched the final episode.
Very tense and quite creepy and unsettling in places but well worth watching.

I'm on episode 4. I'll be back when I'm finished.

One part made me cry it was so upsetting.
yeah the guy playing Larry Hall is fantastic- totally the most frightening and creepy character

The actor playing Larry Hall was Stingray in Cobra Kai. Took me a while to figure out where I knew him from.

@Blue4YOU episode 5 was really hard to watch in places.

The guy who plays Larry Hall did such a good job. Made my skin crawl but simultaneously so pathetic and feels like the kind of person you should feel sorry for and I think that adds so much to the horror as you end up a bit horrified at yourself when any kind of sympathy crawls on

have really liked him in other things he’s been in. Seems to really be one to watch out for

yeah episode 5… I cried like a baby tbh.

He was brilliant in Richard Jewell and I Tonya wasn’t he. Will have to get Apple TV signed up for a month to watch this one!

I have just finished it, I thought it was really good. I think it was Ray Liotta's last performance in a TV series. There are quite a few good series on Apple TV, Severance and Defending Jacob are both good

Paul Walter Hauser playing Larry should win every award going imo, absolutely superb acting. I actually had to stop watching episode five at one point, those who have seen it will know when/what I mean. Hairs are up on the back of my neck just thinking about it while typing this.
PWH is a new actor to me, and I definitely want to watch other stuff he’s done.
It’s really made me wonder just how many Larrys there are out there, given so many people disappear without trace, especially in the USA.
