Keep Breathing - Netflix

Hello, has anyone watched Keep Breathing on Netflix?

No spoilers just yet as I'm only 15 mins in...

BUT

I am trying to get my head around something!

There's a scene where Liv and George are underwater and he has an object in his leg.
As they are holding their breaths, she pulls the object out, he coughs blood and then seems to die/lose consciousness really quickly (like a second after he coughed).

Now what I'm not getting is how he died/lost consciousness so quickly after she pulled the object out?!

Is it due to the loss of blood coupled up with the fact he's holding his breath?

I'm really lost lol, would someone be able to explain if this is realistic ?!

Thank you

We really enjoyed this, it's worth watching to the end!
I know the scene you mean - I just assumed yes, huge injury and loss of blood that she couldn't stem underwater, plus unable to breathe. Maybe onset of shock too?

Just finished it. There are quite a few things that don't make sense that includes the ending! Can we change this to a "with spoilers" thread and someone please explain it to me!
Loved the scenery.

WOW. I just finished it.

The end was poignantly beautiful.

I also was confused about the pilot dying, with blood coming out of his mouth. I actually searched on Google to see his 'cause of death', to no avail. I assume it was from internal bleeding.

Watched it all and sorry I wasted my time on it.

You know what?

I hear you on that.

I was so bored I had been watching in chunks when I didn't have much to do and wasn't really engaged...

But at the end, I truly thought she was going to kill herself...

It's a shame that the ending scene was the most captivating 🤷🏾‍♀️

Internal bleeding makes sense.

I was really puzzled. Couldn't quite get how the removal of the item in his leg led to that reaction.... haha I even tried googling it too

I watched this and really didn’t expect to be so affected by the ending. For the most part I was watching it for any bear attacks and stuff - bit of guilty pleasure of mine for films (I’m not a psycho, promise!).

The middle part, I was just kind of cruising through but the ending completely destroyed me. My mother abandoned me when I was a young teenager, so not a young child like in the show - but it was like seeing my inner child played out. I was in floods of tears and it was like an eruption of emotion that I thought I had dealt with. It was really beautifully done, although perhaps I could just relate so deeply, I can’t tell if it really was as good as I felt it was!

I thought I replied.... tbh I get what you mean totally.
That's why it took so long for me to watch it.

I don't we attentive at the start , and after that put episodes on here and there, but the ending scenes deffo caught my attention
