Does anyone else just love this show?

They just released season 3 and I'm so excited. I think Shea has such beautiful taste and I love seeing her transformations.

I used to watch her on YouTube for a couple of years before they made the show, and loved her channel. So I was really disappointed with the show. I feel like once you’ve seen some of her houses you’ve seen them all- whilst she is a very talented designer, her design style is very samey and now ubiquitous.

So I haven’t made it past the first episode of Season 2. It’s boring now and I wish she would do smaller homes and tiny budgets as I can’t relate to the size and expense of these American houses.

I'm watching - I need to stop as it makes me a bit too "comparison is the thief of joy". Episode 3 in particular was obscene wealth - that wine room??? Plus I think that was their second home?! I like the premise of the show but it's just not attainable.

Her style is a little too coastal for me - I prefer modern country with an industrial slant. Bare bricks with antiques and contemporary art. I don't think she would do anything like that - she loves white and grey too much.

Lover her style and she seems lovely. Not quite sure what her husband brings to the show and find him very annoying. Think it would be better with just her.

The houses are just gorgeous.

Fair play to them though - they've built the company over just 7 years to now having 170 staff - I think he's the business manager so he must be doing something?!

Yeah definitely they have done amazing with the company. Think it's the way he is always chiming in with an irrelevant comment but adds nothing to the design aspect of the show, could definitely lose him for me off the show for me.

Their kids are super cute though!

The kids have always been lovely but it used to annoy me that their hair was always unbrushed in the early episodes. Not a fab of the husband either but fair play to all their hard work and success.

I agree it's all a bit samey now and I'd like to see them do some different things, my favourite was the house they did for the charity woman whose house had burned down.

Yeah it was really good the house they did and the extras for the charity lady. And she was so lovely.

I do like the little tap they always do on the cooker to fill pans with.

Anyone else watching the new season?

I binged watched it the other night. It’s extremely short!

I can’t get into the new series , it’s too unattainable and non realistic to me now.

Im hoping there is a new series of Motel makeover , I loved that !

I’m not keen on how with all the American makeover shows they start doing projects for their mates. They all seem to do it

Love the work of the designer Shea, great results, but her husband needs to go. Very annoying, doesn’t add anything except irrelevant comments.
