Apparently students play a drinking game where they watch a whole day in one sitting and they have to down a shot whenever Jack says "you have to trust me"

we're watching the latest (series 6) and I have to admit that I have semi-switched off. If I were not knitting I would not be on the couch. It just goes on and on, they finish one story line and think, ooh another 8 hrs to go, let's bring in another evil superpower. some attempt at coherency would be welcomed. and I think it's quite wrong in a plot sense to establish someone as cruel, heartless torturing CTU agent and turn them into saintly CTU agent halfway through with no justification other than to generate another plot line (those who have seen series 6 know what I mean). Apparently Series 7 brings back Tony Almeida as a bad guy! I mean really

I think Season 7 is delayed by the writers' strikes (and Kiefer's stint in jail )

We are addicted in my house. Was especially good to have when constantly BFing throughout the evening when DD was tiny. We finished season 5 a while ago but are having a couple of months break before season 6! So sad. I really fancy Jack (but not Kiefer so much). Think that DH has a man crush on him too!

I think I enjoyed numbers 1 2 3 and 4 but gave up at number 5 as it was so nasty - lots of torture

I absolutely loathe the implicit understanding that the viewer has to have that the American counter terrorist squad is honourable, decent and intelligent I think 24 will be found to have been heavily influenced by some secret bod in the government whose agenda is to help ordinary Americans blindly accept any and all actions carried out by governemtn agents. DH calls me a fruitloop when I voice this

I started to get abit bored by season 3 but still watched it anyway and realised by season 5 that seasons 3 and 4 perhaps hadn't been too bad - I never like Kim though - she ruined all of them except the first one. I just finished watched season 6 and enjoyed it alot more. I can't believe Tony would be brought back as a baddie - he died didn't he?? I know Michelle did but I'm sure that Tony did as well - wasn't he recovering in CTU and then they brought in the guy who had killed Michelle and he tried to kill him but was stopped and then got killed himself (one season kinda blurs into another at times!!) Agree - finding Jack much more attractive in Season 6 but Keifer Sutherland sounds like a prat in real life!!
