I quite like Glenda, she has the potential to bring back a bit of comedy

The most unbelievable moment in an unbelievable episode was definitely the pinching of Hayley's ancient red anorak. What did Roy mean when he said that she had taken good care of it? What does taking good care of an anorak consist of?

I thought they were going to find it round the back in the recycling bin and Roy would have been furious and delighted all at once, now that would have made sense.

Why have the 'goings on' in charity shops suddenly become important storylines?

Evelyn is such a great character and they've resorted to her spying on the lady in the charity shop, what a waste and a stupid storyline! They missed a trick when she asked Joy if she had any luck finding the coat, it could have been 'any joy Joy?' !

And I really don't think any would be so keen to keep an ancient red coat that they'd lie about it! It wasn't exactly a Hardy Amies designer one!

Unless she replaced it often, it was a well worn anorak. That was the most interesting story.
Gary being kidnapped and then Kelly being kidnapped were mundane, Stephen being caught swindling Audrey is dull
And Id like to have seen the lavish hotel bathroom.

I assume the hitman's accomplice who helped kidnap Kelly was different from the accomplice who Gary whacked with the spade in the wood? He must have them all lined up on speed dial!

I think he knows she’s inherited a lot of cash so will extort that and we will be left wondering if she’s dead or left weatherfield in a taxi.

I enjoyed that episode. Great two-handers with Roy & Evelyn and then Gary & Kelly.

And I'm glad Kelly walked away and didn't die.

The lady who is playing Joy used to be my Drama teacher at school. She was ace

Gary is not very good at crying. His hair is beginning to get a life of its own; he'll end up like Gail.

Kelly's crying looked genuine. Gary's certainly didn't!

Kelly totally out acted Gary in that scene.

Kelly great actress and love Aadi but but underwhelming episode and that Stephen storyline come on his wife is as shit as him at acting

I wonder if they'll have Stephen turn into a killer to save his own skin and Gabriella and/or Leo will end up in the sink hole? So bloody ridiculous at the moment and the Platts seem to attract killers.

I'm worried about Kelly. She is still an orphan, under 18, alone, vulnerable, with a history of drug abuse and homelessness. I hope Stu looks out for her. She can't just disappear. She can't look after herself.

And she needs her money! She'd have to stay in touch.
