I feel like I have exhausted netflix! No decent dramas to get into. I know it isn't peak TV time at the moment but I don't remember it being as dire as this in previous summers. Anyone goy anything good they have found that I might have missed?

I just started Anatomy of a Scandal (Netflix) last night. Seems ok.

What sort of thing do you like?

We watched a George Clooney film on Netflix last night. Telly's always a bit crap this time of year. The Commonwealth Games start next weekend if you like sport? Maybe catch up on things you haven't seen on iPlayer, etc?

Netflix doesn't have much new that's any good I agree, have you tried The Undeclared War on ch4? Didn't think I would enjoy it but it was pretty good.

I like psychological dramas, detective dramas, true crime stuff and documentaries. I have been working my way through some documentaries on iplayer.

Might give Anatomy of a Scandal a try. I remember now a friend recommended that a while ago.

Witness Number 3 this week was great, also the code hacking thing that is ongoing.

You’d probably enjoy Anatomy then.

Did you watch the recent Sherwood on BBC? That’s still on iplayer.

I'm watching sherwood at the moment and enjoying it.

We're really enjoying Undeclared War on BBC1. All episodes available on iPlayer.

LovelyDaaling · 23/07/2022 22:24

Sorry, not on iPlayer, it is on all4 catch-up

I've just watched Mindhunter on Netflix, really enjoyed it. Trom was also very good, I saw it on iPlayer and I think it's on Netflix too

Anatomy of a Scandal is good.

There was another one with David Tennant (be still my beating heart) as a barrister whose wife was murdered which was good, too, but I can[t remember what it was called - I'll have a look.

Sherwood was - I won't say anything because people are watching and enjoying it, but I had my issues with it.

But yes - telly is crap lately.
