lol my mil was evacuated with someone that used to 'fiddle' (her words) with her. so she ran back to london.

Last series was really good

The children went to live on a farm and really changed for the 6 weeks

It was interesting to watch their transformation

from being obsessed with hair/make up TV gameboys etc etc to being happy with a skipping rope etc.

oh that sounds marvellous.

my mum got evacuated to the highlands aged 18months and went straight to bording school after the war never really went home again even in the holidays.

Hi all being a proud mum I thought I'd tell you that my son is one of the children involved in this programme. He loves history and totally enjoyed the experience. The series was filmed over a 2 1/2 week period and will be shown every Thursday and Friday until 15 Feb Hope you all enjoy watching, by the way his name is Daniel
