Typically bbc 1 and ch5 both have dramas on all week starting at 9 🙄🙄

so will prob watch -+1

brand new drama - a split second look means they life is single mum Jodie is about to go only free fall , when she is the last peep. To witness a killer and his victim before he is murdered

the upcoming thriller, which kicks off 18th July 2022, follows Jodie, a single mother and salon-owner whose life is turned upside down when she inadvertently becomes a major player in a murder trial.

Placed under police protection (and referred to only as 'Witness No. 3'), Jodie is subjected to a terrifying campaign of intimidation as the killer tries to terrorise her into silence, and she must ultimately grapple with whether or not to testify against him.

I really enjoyed this, I thought when the detective was showing her the photos of the grey hoodie covered in stab holes, Jodie asked something like is he dead and the detective nodded, hence murder confirmed.

Thought the acting was really great, looking forward to this evening.

Blondeshavemorefun · 19/07/2022 14:27

Yes they said he’s dead

but thought we would have seen the murder take happenthe way she saw it

one would assume was in her car park and she saw via balcony

@Blondeshavemorefun

I thought she saw victim being abducted by murderer when she looked out of her shop window (and saw murderer's face) but not the actual murder.

At the very beginning of episode 1 there is someone in a car that sees the 2 men walking thru a carpark and it says witness 1, then a man sees then from a window? and it says witness 2, then Jodie sees them from her shop window and it says witness 3... the guy turns around and looks back at Jodie so she sees his face. In all 3 scenes it's clear that the Guy is forcing the other guy along, he has him close to him and I assumed he was being held close with a knife or gun.

Blondeshavemorefun · 20/07/2022 10:58

Thanks @youngestisapsycho for explaining

even Though I watched that, I didn’t reliese what was going on. Duh

now makes more sense

BoreOfWhabylon · 20/07/2022 22:55

I got half way through the first episode but it just wasn't doing it for me Blondes

purpleme12 · 20/07/2022 23:12

Should I watch this or is it too scary?

Because the blurb made it sound scary and like you'll never want to report a crime again

PeloAddict · 21/07/2022 01:54

No spoilers but I've just finished the whole thing and was gripped throughout. Made a change!

Blondeshavemorefun · 21/07/2022 07:04

@BoreOfWhabylon I felt the same with e1

bit 2&3 much better

will watch 4 tonight

@purpleme12 def give it a go

@PeloAddict it is quite gripping. Tho not sure why she didn’t run in e3 when door was open
