Watched this tonight, what an shockingly sad program, that poor, poor girl what she went through in her short life.
I don't want to give too much away but its a documentary about a woman found severely injured at the side of a highway and the case it unravels.

It's hauntingly distressful, however, I found variations on how parts of the story was told. Overall, there is no doubt that it was a horrific ordeal for this poor young lady. A victim of circumstance.
How this monster was able to so easily acquire fake identities was also disturbing. The authorities did little to save her and it seems her biological parents were apathetic. Shame on them.
There should be closure. It is never concluded who ran her over. Yet the perpetrator tried to claim life insurance as her spouse when she passed away.

I didn’t get the sense that her parents were apathetic.

It was made pretty clear that her dad was paralysed by PTSD following the war, and the mother too also because of the long separation caused by the war, her husband’s personality change and then losing her home so traumatically. She was a classic example of a very vulnerable mother falling victim to a predator, and then being trapped in his hell.

She did try to get the children back but the police said she had no rights. This is a systematic failure across multiple agencies.

With regard to her death, I assumed it was Floyd who’d run her down as that was an MO of his. She also had multiple injuries that hospital staff identified as from being beaten rather than hit by a car.

To me it seems like a miracle that she survived as long as she did. By all accounts she was extremely clever and it seems she was able to use her wit to survive him for almost two decades. What a terrible life she had, I can’t imagine the fear and grief she experienced at being abducted and separated from her family so young and then the sheer hell that followed.

I just watched this now and I’m still shocked at how much was revealed as the documentary went on.

That guy is an absolute monster. The amount of people he raped, kidnapped and killed. I’m glad he’s on death row as he doesn’t deserve to live at all.

Seems that Suzie was a beautiful girl and impacted so many lives even though she was so young. I didn’t feel for the parents AT ALL especially the mum. She just didn’t seem too bothered and I agree with the friend of Suzie from the club when she said that she feels like Suzie’s mum could have done more. I wholeheartedly agreed. Seems like she went to the police, they couldn’t do anything and just left it at that.

Really sad story overall. When the police officer said she had been kidnapped and wasn’t her biological dad, I’m pretty sure my mouth dropped

What really upset me was that SHE never knew who she was. The poor girl it says Suzanne on her tombstone but did she know she was Suzanne. Did she feel more like Tonya or Sharon or another identity we know nothing about. Poor poor girl never knowing who she was I found that so distressing.

The whole thing was just horrific and just a shame he's still sitting on death row wasting tax payers money should've excites him long ago.

Just finished watching this and found it really upsetting. It’s tragic that one man could ruin so many lives, he should never have got out of prison after rhe abduction of the 4 year old girl.

It said in the documentary that Suzanne had been pregnant 3 times but do we know what happened to the other child. I wondered whether Floyd was the bio father of Megan.

Just finished this, and found it so desperately sad.

Suzanne was a beautiful girl/woman inside and out from what I can glean from the interviews, but her life was full of misery and pain caused by this sociopathic monster.

It bothered me when Megan's mother asked why she didn't speak up at the time, betraying a lack of empathy.

Michael was confirmed to have been killed by Floyd when the FBI interrogated him.
