Anybody watching? Very impressed so far. I remember when the game first came out, thinking the plot sounded brilliant but never got chance to play so I'm really pleased they made it into a series. Shame its not longer though.

I'm a big fan of Sci-Fi and I love the military angle of this and the fact it has strong female characters who arent just hot girls or mothers.

I think I'm going to read the book(s) to learn more about the Halo Universe and back story too.

Gamer DS says the TV show is woeful compared to the original game/books
They've changed a lot of the characters but not for the better

And they show Master Chief's face Shock which is a huge sacrilidge .
He also gets over emotional /angry and pissed off like a toddler

BTW , I'm just the messenger , I don't skin in this game Wink

Yes, I was disappointed when all the emotional/relationship stuff started to be explored but I'd imagine they had a lot of pressure to do that for ratings' sake - hoping to get a wider audience that way.

I can definitely see the Spielberg touch in the production values and quality though.

Criticisms are that I cant stand some of the characters, plus, the special effects team need to work on giving the aliens more heft when they move. Sometimes they move too quickly and look like they weigh nothing at all.

I read the book Halo: Fall of Reach around the time the game first launched. It was a prequel that lead right up to the moment of the events of the first level of the first game. Really enjoyable.
