Just in. Flipping work getting in the way. Apologies to all, but do feel the need to watch a bit of the Centre match. Haven't seen any dramalama yet, but may have missed it. Commentators did say "is he just going to hope for the ace and not bother about the other points" though, so I presume NK has been lazing it up though? Just won the 3rd on tiebreak.

Did anyone notice the boy who forgot the final tiebreak was to 10 and was all ready to cheer but noticed nobody else was and looked around in confusion at 7-5

I have the tennis on in the background as I’m working, so have just had whatever’s been on BBC2 - mainly the Garin match.

I don’t know which is worse really - losing in a really close 5-setter like that, or being comprehensively beaten. At least with the 5-setter you could think you did the absolute best you could, but equally to be so close and still lose must be awful.
