I just googled Andy and Isner ages as dh said Andy was younger, I was amazed

Feel bad though Isner does look younger

onto sewing bee now - although my recording was of the tennis - luckily I’ve got iplayer but a lot of people haven’t - don’t understand why BBC didn’t put tennis on BBC2 - tennis fans are able to change channels!

I thought Isner looked younger but I knew he was a similar age because that never-ending match was years ago.
I think Jamie Murray is still in (men's doubles and mixed, with Venus Williams)

As a kid I hated Wimbledon partly because they always used to mess up the recording of shows on vhs. And everything was even more out of date because you relied on the tv times not the interactive guide

I'm back at work tomorrow. But will be watching in the evenings . But thanks for keeping me company over the last 3 days

Today at Wimbledon is so annoying. They show the matches that were on the main channels instead of showing the other stuff. Useless.

I've just been catching up on the BBCs tennis news

Apparently Harmony Tan withdrew from her doubles match after her long match with Serena and her doubles partner is not happy!

Stef has been giving out hair care tips - apparently he combs it for 20 minutes and puts oregano on it - he’s a strange one

Looking forward to watching Rafa later - hope he doesn’t put us through the ringer again!

Also I don’t usually have much sympathy for Heather Watson but she’s having to come back and finish her match again - I think the score is 5-4 in the second after she won the first set. She had to do that in her first round match as well - seems a bit unfair

Fizzy I have just been reading about Tan, Korpatsch does have a point i think.
Unfortunately, it happens a lot- but it's usually much bigger named players (doing doubles for match practice after injuries etc) who decide to ditch doubles after a couple of good rounds in singles- not an unknown- who will most likely lose her next match.

I watched the last few games of the watson match, and it was getting dark.Heather seemed quite happy for the match to end- but it is a bit of a pain, for probably a game . Even another set.
They did mention a match where the players came back next day and pretty much played a couple of points. I think I remember that.Hardly worth putting your trainers on for (ok,I'm sure the pay cheque was worth it )

I'm hoping for an easier match from Rafa- they've only met once, and given Berankis has been around for years , it's funny that that was this year at the Australian open.

Yes Berankis seems to have been around for ages but I’m not really sure what he looks like!

I wonder if ADF is still sat on court? It was a pretty bizarre way for him to lose the match on a points penalty! Also when I was watching that match on iplayer a big spider kept crawling across the camera - DH saw it as well so I’m not going mad!

Poor ADF - sitting out on the court in the dark, shaking his head and wondering wtf just happened. Two really tough matches bck to back for him, as well. (though he did make the first one hard fir himself with the silly tweener show-boating).

I'm really excited about the centre court matches today. I hope they start showing some of the doubles too.

He looked pretty stunned Raahh - maybe he will have a think about his behaviour - was still a bit harsh though
