I think I like Jo Konta as a commentator as much as I liked her as a player

Raducanu match even

I actually think it's important for Emma to lose matches. You become a better player by learning how to handle tough opponents and analysing what you could have done better later.

She's only 19. She's got a few more years of honing her craft before we should expect her to win more often.

Well-played from Garcia. She made that so hard for Emma and really deserved that win.

She's been as high as #4 in the rankings, so a tough opponent.

I think there’s been too much hype and expectation put on Emma - it’s a lot for her to deal with - hope she’s given enough time to find her game etc

*Grouchy yes, Garcia is a really good player- she has just won the doubles again ar RG with Mladenovic (after they fell out for years). So, personally, I don't think it was much of an upset. She's a very experienced player.

I do think the media need to take a step back with Emma- it's been wall to wall Emma whenever there has been a bit of a break in the schedule. It's far too much and certainly not her fault.

And she's fresh from winning Bad Homburg.

Angie had a bit of a battle but she's through. Yay!
